After a Tip off about a rusting Jay Van and a google search of the area I paid the old guy (John) a visit to check out what I was hoping would be another Jay Van, but it's a bit to rusty for me I did get a tidy front grill badge though!
The back half is very much amateur home made ! it's got a side valve motor, the ID tag was corroded to dust! gauges were in tact! and yes it has wheels and running gear,If you may be keen to buy this van let me know!

I've started on a repaint mission on my 120Y so I can sell it to finance the Jay Van, Who ever painted it last time was probably an Auto Electrician too! the roof and bonnet are so crazed it looks like the paint was poured on its so thick, so have to be taken back to bare metal and start from scratch.

Oh woe is me seems I bought this van and then this recession hit hence nothing has happened on the restoration I have been getting the odd part including spoked steering wheel X Landrover really should get a Morry one though, Smiths gauges X Jaguar, and Lucas Trafficators. . .
